Ecological Degradation

Ecological degradation is the deterioration of the environment through the depletion of resources such as air, water, and soil; the destruction of ecosystems and the extinction of wildlife.

This degradation can cause damages to the habitats of different animals. This can cause animals to lose their homes, and without their homes, their chances of survival become very slim.

In the Philippines, our environment is slowly becoming more polluted. If this continues, our environment will not be able to sustain life. With this in mind, we have taken measures toward rehabilitation; to make our environment the way it was before; before it was polluted.

When I was younger, I participated in different tree plantings. It felt really good knowing that I was doing something for the environment. The thought that I was making a change, no matter how small, made me happy.
