Indigenous and Endangered Species

An endangered species is one which has been categorized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as likely to become extinct. Conservation biologists use the IUCN Red List, where "endangered" is the second most severe conservation status for wild populations, following critically endangered.

To be one of the last few of your kind can get lonely. Imagine how it is for endangered animals, and yet some people still continue to capture these animals to get what they want.

The extinction of a species can cause major damage to the ecosystem. All living things, in some ways, are connected. If one goes missing, everything else would be affected. The circle of life will be disrupted. We are doing our best to protect these endangered species for them to not become extinct.
